About me
Hi, my name's Hadley.
I'm a photographer, videographer, and documentarian from Birmingham, Alabama. For the past five years, I’ve studied and practiced film & photography in Birmingham, Atlanta, and now Charlotte, NC. The southern Appalachian mountains are my second home.
While attending Emory University, I made my first award-winning documentary about a West Virginian restaurant owner who lived and died by his self-built café: a retrospective about legacy and imagining a bigger world through the eyes of his adventurous daughter (Princess Georgina). I developed a deeper passion for social impact stories in my junior and senior years, and I produced two more short docs on local Atlanta communities (Jack & Jill: Five Star Decade, Portrait of A Choir).
After graduation, I spent a year creating branded video content full time for a law firm that helps the everpresent aging population in Georgia, where I created another short documentary celebrating 10 years of their service (10 Years of Nelson Elder Care Law). I continued to produce regular, in-house photo and video content, all while dreaming of branching off on my own projects.
Right now, I'm happy to be joining Priscilla Green Photography in Charlotte, NC as a photography associate, all while expanding upon my freelance portfolio, Hadley Bryant Media. Inspired by the inventive origins of the first motion picture (Eadweard Muybridge's "The Horse in Motion"), I approach every project with problem-solving curiosity, a love for detail, and an appreciation for the larger picture of life that always shines through on its own.
If you've got any interest in collaborating with someone who is intentional, people-first, and passionate about capturing life authentically through the lens, please don’t be afraid to reach out. I’d love to work with you!
Best wishes,
