I believe in kindness, not niceness. As your photographer or videographer, I won’t just be your hypewoman. Where “niceness” lacks depth and always says yes, a kinder approach means that I’m listening to understand (or discover) your vision and goals, am honest about my services and pricing, and respect your investment by making every penny worth it.
I believe in forgiveness. I understand that with graduation, newborn, and family photography, life happens! You will never be surprised by a rescheduling fee if something truly unexpected gets in the way. (Who wants to look back on photos where you were stressed the entire session because you couldn’t reschedule?) In any case, I’ll work with you to find the best Plan B!
I believe in natural beauty. Documentary media was my first love. Plenty of people think that means fly-on-the-wall, no posing, running gun camera. (Does that exist—yes—but not the point). “Documentary” to me means showing people themselves in their best light. Any editing or Photoshop I do is not transformative, but revealing. Any posing I do is made to look effortless, and keep you comfortable. Because when you’re not worried about how you look, you end up looking your very best.
Hi, my name's Hadley.
I'm a photographer, videographer, and documentarian from Birmingham, Alabama. For the past five years, I’ve studied and practiced film & photography across the southeast.
I currently reside in Charlotte, NC, where I do newborn, family, and graduation photography.
My Background
I earned my bachelor’s in Film & Media with a concentration in Business Management from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 2024. With mentorship from my fantastic film & business school professors, I developed a love for documentary media & an appreciation for creative content marketing.
Since then, I have completed award-winning documentary projects, worked on feature film & TV sets, and started my own personal brand for photo & film projects: Hadley Bryant Media. I have filmed and photographed so many special memories, from new graduates, to newlyweds, to newborns and beyond!
